I'm getting quite bored with deviantart lately. What is the point of deviantart? I used to think it was to share your artwork, maybe receive valid critiques, or simply discuss hot topics on photography and art. But that's lying to myself. Deviantart is the ADHD myspace of artwork, its where only the most ridiculous work flourishes, where the shock of HDR is more popular than the meaning of a shot. There are a million people just trying to get a million pageviews by whoring themselves out. Everyone's page is plagued by 'wow thats so cool' or 'reminds me of my grandpa :)' comments. 99% of photographers here need to reconsider why that are not
